These are the LGBTQ+ events you can't miss in San Francisco this year. For nearly half a century, San Francisco has celebrated LGBTQ+ pride with parades, celebrations and festivals. Its rich counterculture history stretches from North Beach to the Castro and dates back to the mids. The Celebration takes place in San Francisco's Civic Center and features our Main Stage, many community spaces and stages, an 18+ zone, and an lgbtq+ street fair with over artists and exhibitors.

For San Francisco, Pride is more than a party, it's a weekend long act of joyous defiance. Here is our guide to Pride Join the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus at the Curran Theatre for our most joyful event of the year: The Pride Concert! This vibrant celebration on June 21st uplifts our Trans and Nonbinary communities through the unifying power of music.

Beyond the parade, the two-day Pride Festival at Civic Center Plaza offers live performances, speeches from activists, and a chance to connect with organizations supporting LGBTQ+ rights. From pop stars to grassroots movements, the festival represents the diversity of the community in every form. We are rooted historically in the fight against gentrification and displacement both here in San Francisco, on unceded Ohlone land, and worldwide.

We unite, strengthen, and affirm the community through support, resources, education, advocacy, visibility, and celebration. We are dedicated to sexual liberation and the right to pleasure as a crucial part of the whole liberation movement. Folsom Street is an explicitly anti-racist organization and we are committed to decolonizing our practices. We welcome feedback and guidance from our communities. Black Lives Matter Sex work is work The body is not an apology.

Transparency and truth. We are dedicated to staying open to change and rising to our challenges together.
